Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of DigiBioLink platforms, digital business card tools, micro-landing pages, link-in-bio pages, analytics dashboards, NFC/QR services, and all associated products offered under DigiBioLink.

This policy is part of the DigiBioLink Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, reseller access, or partner privileges.

1. Purpose

DigiBioLink provides digital business card and micro-page solutions intended for:

- Professionals
- Businesses and brands
- Creators and influencers
- Agencies and resellers

This AUP exists to:

- Protect platform integrity and reputation
- Maintain legal, ethical, and safe usage
- Prevent abuse that harms users or the platform

This AUP applies to:

-Direct DigiBioLink customers
- Resellers and Sub-resellers
- Clients onboarded by resellers
- Any visitor or user interacting with DigiBioLink-hosted content

2. Prohibited Activities

a. Illegal or Harmful Use

- Conduct or promote illegal activities
- Engage in fraud, phishing, impersonation, or identity theft
- Distribute defamation, harassment, hate speech, or violent content
- Upload obscene, pornographic, or abusive material
- Violate any local or international laws

b. Spam, Deception, and Misuse

Prohibited actions include:

- Sending unsolicited marketing or bulk spam through DigiBioLink tools
- Using misleading metadata, fake testimonials, or deceptive content
- Creating fake accounts or impersonating individuals or organizations
- Using DigiBioLink pages to redirect traffic deceptively for SEO manipulation

c. Security Violations

You must not:

- Attempt unauthorized access to DigiBioLink servers or other accounts
- Inject malware, bots, harmful scripts, or automated traffic
- Reverse engineer, copy, or disrupt platform functions
- Probe or scan for vulnerabilities

d. Intellectual Property Violations

Users may not:

- Upload content without appropriate rights or permissions
- Misuse copyrighted logos, trademarks, or branding
- Claim ownership of material you do not own
- Publish reused designs or templates without rights

e. Platform Scope Restrictions

DigiBioLink is not a full website builder. Users must not:

- Build full multi-page websites or blogs
- Host large e-commerce catalogs or portals
- Host long-form articles, streaming media, or file repositories
- Use DigiBioLink as a general content-hosting or file-storage service

DigiBioLink is specifically designed for:

- Digital business cards
- Link-in-bio pages
- Portfolio and micro-profiles
- Contact-sharing and showcase pages

3. Fair Use & Platform Integrity

Users may not:

- Use bots, scrapers, or automation that overloads the system
- Abuse trial accounts, promo codes, or free-use programs
- Attempt to clone DigiBioLink features or resell unauthorized access
- Circumvent usage limits or storage restrictions

4. Resellers, Agencies & PRO Service Providers

If you operate as a reseller/agency under DigiBioLink:

You must not:

- Misrepresent your relationship with DigiBioLink
- Use DigiBioLink branding in domains, ads, or identity without permission
- Sell or promise features not supported by the platform
- Onboard clients who violate DigiBioLink policies
- Provide misleading or exaggerated claims about capabilities

You must:

- Ensure your clients comply with this AUP
- Handle client support responsibly within your service scope
- Maintain transparent pricing if you charge clients under your own packages

5. Child Safety

- DigiBioLink is not intended for children under 13.
- Pages promoting exploitation or harm to minors will be terminated immediately.
- Violations may be reported to authorities.

6. Reporting Abuse

To report suspicious or abusive content:

Reports are reviewed promptly, and accounts may be restricted during investigation.

7. Content Accuracy & Representation

Users must ensure that DigiBioLink content is:

- Factually accurate
- Not misleading or fraudulent
- Updated regularly
- Not used to impersonate professionals, medical/legal experts, or licensed practitioners without proper credentials

Certain sensitive categories may require verification.

8. Restricted & High-Risk Categories

DigiBioLink cannot be used for:

- Unlicensed or illegal business activities
- MLM, pyramid schemes, Ponzi schemes
- High-risk financial operations, crypto scams
- Unregulated medical products, unauthorized supplements
- Gambling, betting, or casino services without licenses
- Weapons, explosives, harmful chemicals

Pages in regulated industries may be restricted or removed.

9. Data & Privacy Responsibilities

You must:

- Comply with all applicable data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Not collect sensitive personal data unless legally permitted
- Not resell or misuse visitor or analytics data
- Clearly disclose if you collect user information via forms

Improper data handling may lead to immediate termination.

10. Bandwidth, Storage & Resource Usage

Prohibited behaviors include:

- Uploading excessively large media files
- Using DigiBioLink as a permanent file hosting service
- Streaming or distributing heavy-bandwidth content
- Generating unnatural traffic or server load

DigiBioLink may throttle or remove content violating fair use norms.

11. Third-Party Scripts & Integrations

You may not:

- Inject malicious or unauthorized custom code
- Add scripts that track visitors without disclosure
- Integrate harmful widgets or unstable iFrames
- Manipulate analytics or automation systems

Only approved widgets/integrations are allowed.

12. Enforcement

If you violate this AUP, DigiBioLink may:

- Remove content
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Restrict or revoke reseller privileges
- Take legal action if required
- Report serious violations to authorities

DigiBioLink retains full discretion over enforcement.

13. Policy Updates

This AUP may be updated at any time. Updates become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
